*REVIEW* The Savage Wild. by Roxie Noir

5 Stars

This book had my interest from the moment I read the description and it did not disappoint!  I absolutely loved this story and could not put it down. While this is technically a lovers to enemies to lovers story, it is really unlike any others I have read.  This book definitely hit all of the emotions.

Imogen is a shy, awkward scientist just trying to get to her next research station.  Wilder is the man she was hoping to never see again as long as she lived.

The way this story is written we don't get to find out exactly what happened between Wilder and Imogen to make them hate each other until quite a few chapters into the book.  While things are hinted at, it was definitely eye opening when we get to start reading chapters set in the past.  I thought that this was a very cleaver way for the author set this up because it let me make some guesses at what happened before it actually told me.

My heart was breaking for Imogen when I found out what exactly she had been put through by Wilder.  On top of dealing with the emotional shock of being thrown together for the first time in 10 years, things take an even bigger turn for the worst when their plane crashes high up in the mountains leaving them stranded and alone.

The two of them are forced for the first time to confront their past at the same time they are forced to fight for their survival.  With no other choice than to work together to get out of their situation the chemistry they had years ago still comes across as strong as ever.

This book is a must read book for sure.  Full of suspense, drama, heartbreak and some hot steamy moments you will not be disappointed.
